Job title: Jewish Rabbi
Location: China Lake, Ridgecrest, CA 93555
Requirements:
Be an ordained rabbi from an accredited rabbinical institute of religion, or a fourth-year rabbinical student granted certification authorization.
Must have completed courses in education, pastoral counseling, and public speaking.
Duties:
Provide at least ten (10) Jewish worship services at China Lake chapel.
Ensure a traditional form of worship - for example, in the wearing of head coverings, in the use of Hebrew as the language of prayer, and music.
Prepare for monthly Shabbat services on Friday and Saturday and High Holy Days including worship music.
Schedule:
August - Shabbat September - Rosh Hashanah
September - Shabbat & Yom Kippur
October - Shabbat & Sukkot
November - Shabbat
December - Shabbat & Chanukah
January - Shabbat
February - Shabbat
March - Shabbat & Purim
April - Passover Shabbat
