Position Title: Medical Materiel Technician (MMT)
Job Type: Full-Time.
Job Location: 36th Medical Group, Andersen Air Force Base, Guam (with potential temporary duty assignments across the INDOPACIFIC AOR, including the Marianas, Japan, Philippines, and Australia)
Requirements: The Candidate shall have :
- High School Diploma or GED (required).
- Preferred: Background in Logistics Management or equivalent.
- Forklift certification (required prior to start).
- HIPAA and DoD Cyber Awareness training within 5 duty days of start.
- Ongoing training as required by the 36th Medical Group
- Knowledge of Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic record management.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 65 lbs.
Duties & Responsibilities
Receiving & Storage:
Verify shipments, scan barcodes, input receipt data into automated systems.
Store, stack, palletize, and rotate WRM (War Reserve Materiel) assets.
Issuing & Shipping:
Assemble and issue materiel based on priority, transportation mode, and destination.
Operate automated materiel handling equipment safely.
Inventory Management:
Maintain accountability of all WRM assets, including controlled, hazardous, and refrigerated materiel.
Conduct inventories, maintain shelf-life extension programs, and ensure proper storage conditions.
Program & Compliance Support:
Support WRM assembly builds, sustainment, deployment, reconstitution, and modernization operations.
Conduct self-inspections, audits, and provide quarterly Medical Readiness Committee (MRC) briefs.
Maintain WRM continuity folders and assist the Medical Logistics Flight Commander with CBRN/contingency programs.
Safety & Security:
Safeguard government property, maintain key control, and comply with physical security procedures.
Adhere to all HIPAA and safety requirements.
Other Duties:
Complete and submit DMHRSi timecards biweekly.
Support audits and readiness exercises, including contingency/pandemic response taskings.
Travel (CONUS/OCONUS) as directed by the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR).
