Duties:

• The applicant shall ensure that all musical selections are appropriate for the specific type of worship service and Christian season.
• The applicant shall ensure that musical selections and instrumentation are suited to the venue.
• The applicant will coordinate with worship service chaplain to adjust tempo and style of accompaniment to enhance the congregation's ability to participate in worship.
• The applicant shall provide for appropriate music for funerals, memorials, and other observances, in cooperation with the chaplain assigned to the service

Qualification/ Education:

• A degree in music from an accredited institution is preferred.
• Knowledge of Protestant Traditional music is required.
• Must be able to play piano from sheet music or the hymnal proficiently and assist in vocal leads.
• Ability to perform in these areas is required.
• Previous experience in a Protestant military chapel setting is preferred.
