Job Title: General Maintenance Worker

Based at: Altus Air Force Base, Oklahoma

Requirements: The candidate must meet the following requirements:

Worker Requirements and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Experience working with tools, including hand and electrical tools.

• Ability to read and utilize technical manuals and drawings.

• Possess communication and fluent in English language with day to day duties, and professionalism.

Specific Tasks:

• Perform repairs, such as repairing broken locks, damage to dry-walls to include painting & replacement.

• Complete regular maintenance tasks, such as replacing light bulbs and ballasts.

• Perform installations, assembling/disassembling, and removal of furniture.

• Maintain grounds, including garden trimming, and collecting trash.

• Mounting/hanging of items such as dry erase boards, bulletin boards, and frames.

• Perform basic plumbing and electrical work in accordance with plumbing and electrical standards (NFPA/NEC). • Replace floor tiles, carpet tiles, and ceiling tiles.

• Report to Facility Manager regarding issues resolved, those needing attention, and those currently in progress. • Maintain clean, safe and organized work area to include but not limited to dusting, mopping, and trash removal. • Maintain tools and equipment in safe, clean and good working order.
