Job Overview:
This role involves delivering classroom instruction, hands-on practical skills assessments, and live burn simulations to ensure proficiency in Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting (ARFF). The contractor will also perform routine maintenance on the MAFT simulator and provide technical guidance to the Northern Strike Command Team and Staff.

Period of Performance: 21 July 2024 – 16 August 2024
Qualifications:
  • military experience within five years and at a battalion level or higher.
  • Pro Board certification for pumper operator, ARFF operator, and mobile water supply
  • Certified in AT Level 1 awareness training.
  • Completion of iWATCH and OPSEC training.
  • Proven experience in providing training for ARFF, including live fire scenarios and emergency response procedures.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop training plans with rotational units, including live fire scenarios (fuel spill fires, engine fire, fuselage fire, APU fire) and interior search and rescue scenarios.
  • Deliver classroom instruction and hands-on practical skills assessments for pumper operator, ARFF operator, and mobile water supply.
  • Conduct live burn training exercises in the MAFT simulator, simulating military aircraft accidents and emergencies.
  • Provide on-demand MAFT services with a 72-hour notice for Pre-Mishap Plan Rehearsals.
  • Ensure MAFT simulator is fully operational and perform routine maintenance.
