Job Title: Psychologist Consultant

Based at: Missouri. (this requirement is to be met Virtually via webcast (Teams or WebEx)

Job Summary:   Ladgov Corporation is looking for a successful Certified Psychologist who will provide  expertise in areas of psychological problems such as family, marital, chemical dependency, alcohol abuse, financial, mental, and other emotional problems and insure promoting and maintaining the well-being of VA employees.

• Requirements:  The Candidate must meet the following requirements

• Experience

•  Must have current clinical experience. Provide evidence that you have a minimum of three years of clinical experience within the last seven years.

• Education
• Possess a doctorate degree in psychology from a program in clinical psychology of an educational institution accredited by an organization recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.

• Experience 
• Possesses two years of supervised clinical experience as a psychologist in health service, at least one year of which is post master’s degree.

• Licensure

• Must be licensed or certified as a psychologist at the independent practice level of psychology.      

• Duties: the candidate will be responsible for,

• Help clarify the problem and provide a better understanding of its dimensions.
• Provide short term counseling, when practical and appropriate, or help motivate the employee to seek other help;
• Recommend and/or facilitate referral to a resource in the community referral.  These recommendations shall be developed within the financial means of the employees.
• Attend required meetings, briefings, and workgroups necessary to perform independent case reviews.          
• Examining alternative ways of resolving or managing the problems.
