Job Title: Catholic Parish Coordinator
Location: KOR
Duties:
⦁ Prepare and complete worship bulletins, sacramental records, calendar updates, purchase coordination, web-management and publicity.
⦁ Manage all Religious Community registrations to include registrations and keeping current registrations updated.
⦁ Assist Catholic Chaplain in preparation of the Quarterly Archdiocese for the Military Services (AMS) clergy reports.
⦁ Coordinate with the heads of various parish ministries/groups for information pertaining to each ministry/organization group program and volunteer support.
⦁ Provide support for Catholic Education classes by ensuring proper classroom set-up and usage, distribution of materials and supplies to instructors.
⦁ Pass out required literature and information.
⦁ Collaborate with Finance Committee Chair to provide administrative support for regularly scheduled .
⦁ Attend staff and operational meetings as indicated and report to Catholic Chaplain.
⦁ Support four events for the Catholic Youth of the Chapel for various age groups.
⦁ Prepare publicity and purchase coordination that supports the events.
Education & Qualifications:
⦁ The applicant must provide a resume and documentation to substantiate personal
qualifications.
⦁ Be familiar with the faith traditions and practices of the supported congregation(s), and committed to the spiritual health of the RSO and the supported worshipping community.
⦁ Possess personal experience with the military culture and ministry in a multidenominational and multi-ethnic Christian community within a pluralistic environment.
⦁ Possess strong organizational, administrative, and record-keeping skills.
⦁ Possess the ability to comprehend and communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
⦁ Be computer-literate and possess the ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Publisher).
⦁ Work toward completing any required certifications Archdiocese for Military Service (AMS) Certification.
⦁ The applicant will be required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and submit a proof of vaccination.
