Location: Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER), Alaska

Position: Part-time

Duties:

Coordinate and provide Catholic ministry for teenagers and young adults, primarily for the JBER community.
Conduct weekly meetings for Senior High Youth (grades 9-12) and twice-monthly meetings for Middle School Youth (grades 6-8).
Organize monthly special events, activities, and retreats for both Senior High and Middle School Youth.
Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise volunteers.
Provide advertising, promotional materials, and regular reports to the Senior Catholic Chaplain.
Maintain records of supplies, materials, and attendance.

Requirements:

Training in youth work with a minimum of two years of experience in youth ministry.
Bachelor's degree preferred; seminary education desirable.
Adherence to high moral and ethical standards consistent with the Christian nature of the chapel youth ministry program.
