Duties:

The security guard shall ensure that all security violations/incidents are properly documented and reported to the Security Coordinator.
The security guard shall notify any unusual occurrences inside or outside the building immediately.
The security guard shall roll patrol rounds throughout campus at a minimum of four (4) times during a shift on a normal basis.
Maintain a security log.
The security guard shall record incidents/violations in the program.
The security guard shall be able to stand post at the main gate and log in visitors, staff, contractors, students, and Emergency Personnel with time, date, and nature.

Qualifications:

The applicant shall possess a security guard registration Level II guard card/certification (New Mexico certification).
The applicant shall have a current motor vehicle operator's license issued by the State of New Mexico.
