Position Summary

Ladgov Corporation is seeking a qualified Administrative Assistant to support the Guam Army National Guard Recruiting and Retention Battalion (RRB). The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative and document-processing support associated with enlistment waiver packets, applicant records, recruiting coordination, reporting, and office operations.

The position requires a high level of organization, accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail. The Administrative Assistant will work closely with Recruiting and Retention personnel and will serve as the primary point of contact for waiver packet processing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, process, and track enlistment waiver packets for accuracy and completeness.
  • Scan, organize, and maintain required applicant and waiver documentation.
  • Coordinate waiver information and supporting documents with Recruiting and Retention personnel.
  • Conduct administrative interviews and provide applicants with required documentation instructions.
  • Maintain waiver tracking records and prepare required monthly status reports.
  • Communicate waiver requirements and policy updates to recruiting personnel.
  • Route waiver packets for required approvals and update waiver-processing SOPs as needed.
  • Provide general administrative support, including filing, phone calls, scheduling, research, and preparation of briefing materials.

  • Strong administrative, organizational, and document-management skills.
  • Ability to review detailed documentation for completeness and accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interact professionally with applicants, military personnel, and Government staff.
  • Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information.
  • Ability to manage multiple files, deadlines, reports, and administrative actions.
  • Ability to work independently while coordinating with Recruiting and Retention personnel.
  • Ability to work on-site during the required Monday–Friday schedule.
  • Ability to travel locally using a privately owned vehicle when necessary.
