Job Title: Protestant Musician

Location: Fort Leavenworth, KS

Duties:

• Shall provide Keyboard Gospel Music Support Service to include preludes, postludes, offertory, accompanying singing of hymns/choruses/spiritual songs and the choir, background music for meditation, prayers, and communion.
• Shall perform at all scheduled services and miss no more than 2 per year.
• Shall provide Organ Musical Support to include preludes, postludes, offertory, accompanying singing of hymns/choruses/spiritual songs, background music for meditation, prayers and communion.
• Shall participate in rehearsal services.
• Shall perform at all scheduled services and miss no more than 2 per year.
• Shall provide Organ Musical Support to include preludes, postludes, offertory, accompanying singing of hymns/choruses/spiritual songs, background music for meditation, prayers and communion.
• Shall perform site preparation and restoration.
• Shall provide worship support to include the prelude and postlude music for the ceremony as well as accompaniment of any musical pieces required as part of the program.
• Shall be prepared to support a memorial ceremony on short notice if necessary as commanders determine the timing based upon operational tempo and unit needs.

Education & Qualifications:

• Shall possess experience in religious worship settings, with sufficient experience playing piano or keyboard appropriately at public worship services accompanying congregational singing and choir groups.
• Shall possess experience in religious worship settings, with sufficient experience playing organ for Liturgical and Episcopal services appropriate at public worship services and accompanying congregational singing.
• A minimum of two years of experience.
