Location: McGuire AFB, NJ
Job type: Part-Time.
Schedule: Minimum of 24 hours per week

Duties:
  • Coordinate and manage religious education for children and adults.
  • Oversee volunteer recruitment, training, and compliance with background checks.
  • Maintain communication with volunteers, parents, and the Catholic community.
  • Organize special events, retreats, and seasonal activities.
  • Handle administrative duties, resource inventory, and program documentation.
  • Participate in chapel services and community events.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; advanced catechism certificate preferred.
  • Practicing Catholicism with confirmed Sacrament of Confirmation.
  • Certified AMS Catechist, or able to obtain certification within 120 days of start.
  • Experience in religious education teaching or coordination within the last 18 months.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong organizational and communication skills.
