Duties :

• The applicant shall work with the Catholic Chaplain to prepare and present to the Wing Chaplain for approval, an annual budget for the appropriated and non-appropriated funds; to plan and order curriculum; and to plan and publicize a calendar of events in a timely manner.
• The applicant shall plan and execute the formation of first communion, confirmation, first reconciliation programs
• The applicant shall recruit teachers, teacher aids, and volunteers
• The applicant shall enroll and keep records of all RE students.  Report the monthly attendance numbers to the Catholic chaplain.
• The applicant shall publish a Catholic handbook 30 days prior to each school year.
• The applicant shall develop a clear description of the duties and scope of responsibility for each Catholic volunteer position.
• The applicant shall provide initial and annual orientation and training for program volunteers.

Qualification:

• The applicant must have a broad knowledge of Catholic teachings with a broad background of Catholic religious education, teachings, beliefs and practices.
• The applicant must be able to work in a religiously pluralistic environment and have a willingness to work with people of diverse faith expressions.

Education/ Experience:                

• The applicant shall obtain and maintain Archdiocese of Military Services Catechist certification.
