Job title: Music Director

Duties:

• The applicant will be responsible for selecting the music and coordinating the worship song set.
• The applicant will work with the Protestant chaplains and the Protestant Parish Coordinator in preparing the weekly order of service. 
• The applicant must be responsible for conducting regular rehearsal sessions for the worship team and choir members on a weekly basis.
• The applicant shall prepare the worship song set and load the worship song set/order into the multi-media worship program.
• The applicant shall actively recruit new worship and choir members and maintain a harmonious relationship with the worship team.
• ensure all facilities and storage areas are secured according to chapel facility procedures.

Qualification :           

• The applicant must be able to function as in a pluralistic environment working with chaplains, staff, contractors, and volunteers from a variety of Protestant Christian backgrounds.

• the applicant shall present a neat, appearance at all times during the performance.
• The applicant shall possess a basic knowledge of a sound system and check presets to make sure they are set properly for services and rehearsals. 

Education/ Experience:

• The applicant shall have a two years’ experience in leading and directing a variety of Protestant worship services and working for a chapel or congregation.
