Job title: General Academic Advisor.
Location: Aviano AB, Italy.
Type of job: Full-Time Position.
Schedule: Monday to Friday 07:30-16:30, except federal holidays.
Duties:
The candidate should:

Provide academic advisement and guidance to military personnel.
Update enlisted members' transcripts in Air Force Automated Education Management System and Air Force Military Personnel Data System.
Instruct officers on contacting Air Force Institute of Technology for educational inquiries.
Maintain knowledge of Community College of the Air Force catalogs and Advisors' Handbook.
Consolidate and publish schedules for on-base colleges' courses.
Schedule appointments and assist with graduation event coordination.
Handle calls and manage emails professionally.

Requirements:
The candidate should have:

A bachelor’s degree from US an accredited college or university.
Bachelor’s degree experience in the education field.
15-30 semester hours in counseling; secondary education in a related discipline.
Excellent customer service skills and verbal communication skills are essential.
Appropriate related professional work or volunteer experience of at least 1 year is desirable.
Knowledge of/experience with AF terminology, office procedures, and education programs.
Familiarity/facility with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access is desirable.
