Job Title:  Mechanical Test Engineer (Mechanical Shock Class)

Location: Dahlgren, VA

Duties:

• The training shall address the following topics, at a minimum:

• Introduction Mechanical Shock
• Common Shock Environments
• Single Degree-of-Freedom System Overview
• Shock Response Spectrum
• Shock Testing
• Shock Test Specifications
• Design for Shock
• Temporal and Energy Methods

• Shall travel in performance of this contract.
• The training is to provide students the materials and knowledge to understand mechanical shock.

Education & Certifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Qualifications:

• Advanced verbal and written communication skills necessary to effectively collaborate in a class environment, present and explain Mechanical Shock.
• Experience with environment definition and test specification development.
