Duties:

  • Prepare and serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily in accordance with the Armed Forces Recipe Service and Government menus.
  • Collaborate with the Military Mess Hall Manager to plan meals, ensuring variety and nutritional balance.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen, dining areas, and all food preparation equipment following each meal.
  • Adhere strictly to NAVMED P5010-1 standards and other food safety guidelines.
  • Manage food storage and inventory, ensuring proper stock levels and rotation.
  • Modify menus based on feedback, dietary requirements, and special meal requests.
  • Assist in the preparation of special meals for holiday events and other occasions as required.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in food service, preferably in a government or commercial dining facility.
  • Ability to create diverse, high-quality, and nutritious meals.
  • Knowledge of NAVMED P5010-1 food safety standards.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • Physically capable of performing kitchen duties, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Must have necessary certifications and permits for food service.

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday

Meal times:

  • Breakfast: 06:00 – 08:30
  • Lunch: 11:30 – 14:00
  • Dinner: 16:30 – 19:00
