Duties:

Assist the Cook in preparing meals, including prepping ingredients, organizing supplies, and maintaining clean cooking stations.
Support in setting up and maintaining the food service area, ensuring meals are served promptly.
Clean and sanitize food preparation surfaces and equipment as needed throughout the day.
Handle inventory tasks, including organizing and properly storing supplies.
Assist with portion control and food handling to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

Requirements:

1-2 years of experience in a kitchen support or assistant cook role.
Familiarity with food safety standards and safe food handling practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow detailed instructions.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Must have a valid Food Handler’s Certificate (State of Louisiana or equivalent).
