Job Title: Aerobics Instructors

Duties :

• The instructor shall be courteous, use constructive criticism, and never insult class participants.
• The instructor shall be able to explain, demonstrate, and perform all exercises being taught. 
• The instructor shall be presented in a neat appearance, wear conservative clothing, and be easily recognized.
• Instructor shall teach a variety of classes as scheduled by Dyess AFB Fitness Center Management.
• the instructor shall provide No less than 5 and no more than 10 class sessions shall be offered per week.
• The instructor Shall have equal to or greater than four (4) different style classes scheduled per week to ensure adequate variety.
• Instructor shall be fully set up and prepared for class 10 minutes prior to the scheduled start time.  

Qualifications

• The instructor will also possess and maintain currency of, a certification for any specialty fitness class they teach; i.e. Zumba, yoga, TRX, spinning, etc.
• Instructor will possess and maintain currency of a group exercise certification from an organization that is accredited by either the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or the Distance Education and Training Council (DETC).

Education/Experience:

• Instructor must have at least three (3) years fitness teaching experience and be able to personally mentor new instructors on safety guidelines and methods of instruction.
