Duties:

Patrol the Colorado Springs Lindstrom Clinic, following established routes and schedules to maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
Check identification, keycards, and badges at entry points, ensuring compliance with the clinic’s check-in procedures.
Provide support during emergencies, including evacuations and lockdowns, maintaining communication with VA Police for guidance and assistance.
Conduct regular inspections of smoking areas and enforce compliance, reporting any violations to VA Police.
Prepare daily logs and incident reports, documenting rounds, visitor sign-ins, and any unusual occurrences.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent, with at least two years of security or related experience.
Must be 18 years of age or older and meet state security requirements in Colorado.
Ability to remain calm and follow emergency procedures with professionalism, along with strong verbal and written communication skills.
