Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support customers in identifying employment, education, and career goals.
- Provide counseling and resources for self-employment, small business, and entrepreneurship.
- Offer local market information and conduct skills development workshops.
- Conduct job fairs and establish linkages to alternate paid employment networks.
- Manage job bank access and referrals.
- Conduct workshops on self-marketing skills, including resume writing and interview techniques.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in behavioral or social science or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience in employment assistance and counseling.
- Proficiency in providing resources for self-employment, small business, and entrepreneurship.
- Ability to offer local market information and conduct skills development workshops.
- Knowledge of programs like DOD Military Spouse Preference Program.
