Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Macedonian Language Instructor to join our team in Skopje, Macedonia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing Macedonian language lessons for individuals or groups, with a focus on enabling students to achieve their language learning goals.

Responsibilities:

1. Lesson Planning: Develop engaging and effective lesson plans tailored to the needs and proficiency levels of students.
2. Teaching: Deliver Macedonian language instruction to students through various teaching methods, such as lectures, discussions, group activities, and multimedia resources.
3. Assessment: Assess and evaluate students' language skills through tests, assignments, and other forms of evaluation to monitor their progress.
4. Individualized Instruction: Provide individualized attention and support to students with different learning styles and abilities.
5. Cultural Context: Integrate cultural elements and real-world language use into lessons to enhance students' understanding of Macedonian culture.
6. Feedback: Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their language skills and fluency.
7. Materials and Resources: Select appropriate textbooks, supplementary materials, and resources to support instruction.
8. Classroom Management: Maintain a well-organized and positive learning environment, ensuring the safety and comfort of all students.
9. Professional Development: Stay updated with current trends and methodologies in language instruction through professional development activities.
10. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and other relevant data for student progress reporting.
11. Communication: Communicate with students, parents, and stakeholders to address questions, concerns, and feedback regarding language instruction.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Macedonian language, linguistics, education, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
2. Native or near-native proficiency in Macedonian with excellent communication skills.
3. Proven experience as a Macedonian language instructor, preferably in an educational setting.
4. Teaching certification or language teaching qualification is an advantage.
5. Strong understanding of language learning methodologies and approaches.
6. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of students.
7. A passion for teaching and a commitment to helping students achieve their language learning goals.
8. Adaptability and flexibility in delivering instruction and adjusting to students' needs.

Requirements:

1. Valid work authorization in Macedonia.
2. Availability to work during scheduled class times, which may include evenings and weekends.
