Nurse Practitioner

Position: Full-time
Location: Osan Air Base, South Korea
Duties:
Conduct deployment-related health assessments, annual occupational health exams, mental health assessments, and physical health assessments.
Adhere to Department of Defense (DoD) and Defense Health Agency (DHA) policies, ensuring compliance with required standards of care and clinical practice guidelines.
Work in conjunction with other healthcare providers including physicians, nurses, and support personnel, and maintain communication for coordination.
Provide emergency care for life-threatening conditions and manage routine care and treatment within established protocols.
Prescribe and dispense medications.
Maintain confidentiality of patient and facility information per federal laws like HIPAA.
Requirements:
Must possess a master’s in nursing degree from a national nursing accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
Certification by the Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools (CGFNS) for nurses.
Qualified to see patients ages 17 and older.
Must possess a valid, unrestricted license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) from any of the 50 U.S. states, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or U.S. territories.
Must maintain current certification in either the American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) (Course C) or the American Red Cross Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/BLS, ACLS course, and Community Health Management.
A minimum of three years of total nursing experience, including one year as an NP within the last five years.
Must communicate in English at a proficiency level of a native speaker, TOEIC score ≥ 850 obtained within the last three years.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
