Job Title: Dining Facility Shift Leader

Job Type: Full-Time

Duties:

  • Direct and supervise staff during operating hours, ensuring that daily routines are followed and customer satisfaction is maintained.
  • Assist in food preparation, ensuring that meals meet nutritional standards and are served efficiently.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the dining facility, ensuring that all equipment and implements are properly cleaned and maintained.
  • Coordinate with the Dining Facility Manager to address any issues or complaints related to food service.

Requirements:

  • Experience preparing food products in a cafeteria-style dining establishment.
  • A formal civilian education degree or certificate in culinary arts or food preparation can substitute for experience.
  • Formal education as a military cook can substitute for education and experience.
  • Must have a current Serve Safe certification.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
