Protestant Teacher

Job Title:  Protestant Religious Education Coordinator

Location:  RAF Alconbury, England

Travel:  N/A

Duties:

• Plan and implement Protestant RE programs for Protestant personnel and their families at RAF Alconbury/Molesworth.
• Assist the Chaplain in developing the following in regards to RE Coordinator programs as appropriate:  annual calendar of events, Chapel Tithes and Offerings Fund Budget, Appropriated Fund budget, and core volunteer training requirements.
• Coordinate and ensure that all purchase requests for RE programs are properly completed and submitted in a timely manner.
• Propose effective advertisements of RE programs and events and implement the advertisements upon approval by the Government.

Qualifications: 

• 6 months experience working/volunteering in a Christ-based religious education setting.
• Familiarity and experience in ministry in a military setting is preferred but not required.  
• Be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English in order to perform all responsibilities
• Possess and demonstrate an understanding of the basic doctrines and worship practices of the Protestant faith.

Education/Certification:

• High school diploma is required. Additionally, a college degree is preferred but required.
