Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Piano Tuning and Maintenance Technician to join our team. The candidate will have a strong passion for music, a keen ear for detail, and a deep understanding of piano mechanics. As a vital member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality tuning and maintenance services to our valued clients.

Responsibilities:

Perform regular piano tuning, adhering to industry standards and client preferences.
Diagnose and correct pitch, tone, and resonance issues to achieve exceptional sound quality.
Conduct thorough inspections to identify worn or faulty parts that require repair or replacement.
Execute piano maintenance tasks, including action regulation, voicing, and damper adjustments.
Collaborate with clients to understand their specific tuning and maintenance needs.
Provide knowledgeable advice on piano care, maintenance schedules, and optimal playing conditions.
Maintain accurate records of tuning and maintenance activities for each piano.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Piano Tuning and Maintenance Technician.
Strong knowledge of piano mechanics, construction, and materials.
Excellent understanding of pitch, tone, and resonance adjustments.
Skilled in diagnosing and troubleshooting piano-related issues.
Proficient in using specialized tools for tuning and maintenance.
Exceptional attention to detail and a keen ear for sound quality.
Effective communication skills to interact with clients and provide guidance.
