English–Spanish Interpreter / Translator

Location: Puerto Rico (On-site and Virtual)
Client: USDA Forest Service – El Yunque National Forest
Type: Contract / On-Call

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide real-time interpretation (English ↔ Spanish) during meetings and events.

• Support virtual and in-person meetings with Forest Service leadership and staff.

• Ensure accurate translation of information while maintaining tone and intent.

• Conduct brief pre-meeting coordination calls with agency staff when required.

• Maintain confidentiality and comply with federal agency requirements.

Qualifications:

• Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written).

• Minimum 3 years of interpretation or translation experience.

• Knowledge of Puerto Rican culture and context.

• Ability to support on-site and virtual meetings across Puerto Rico.
