Job Title: Program Manager for Blood Donor Center

Duties and Responsibilities:
The applicant shall:
Maintain safety and health standards according to OSHA requirements.
Conduct 5 to 10 platelet donors per day and handle emergency specialty needs.
Conduct campus workshops, orientations, staff meetings, and briefings.
Organize donor recognition ceremonies and themed blood product recruitment.
Maintain a program of donor motivation and education.
Implement public affairs campaigns for blood donor recruitment.
Develop and maintain relationships with organizations for donor recruitment.
Arrange workshops and seminars to educate the military community.
Address concerns that might impact blood donations.
Coordinate media coverage and provide supporting materials for events.
Manage a donor incentive program and ensure adequate scheduling.
Work with coordinators to set up blood drives and recruit donors.
Evaluate recruitment strategies and prepare reports on donor turnout.
Gather input and develop new methods and recruitment plans.
Conduct independent research to provide up-to-date information.
Plan and carry out work independently, develop written materials, and analyze public feedback for program changes or modifications.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or a related field (master's degree preferred).
Previous experience in blood donation services, healthcare program management, or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices in blood collection and transfusion services.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety in blood donation practices.
Operation hours:
0730-1600, Monday through Friday.
A typical workday/week consists of 8 hours/ 40 hours per week with an uncompensated 30-minute lunch break each day.
