Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Chiller Maintenance Technician to handle the care and upkeep of chiller systems for our clients. The Chiller Maintenance Technician will play a vital role in maintaining optimal performance and extending the lifespan of these systems through regular inspections, maintenance tasks, and minor repairs.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance on chiller systems, including cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting components.
Conduct regular inspections to identify wear, leaks, or other potential issues, and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
Monitor and calibrate control systems to ensure accurate and efficient operation of chillers.
Collaborate with clients to understand their specific maintenance needs and provide expert recommendations.
Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including tasks performed and parts used.
Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues effectively.
Work in accordance with safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in chiller maintenance.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Chiller Maintenance Technician or in a similar HVAC maintenance role.
Strong understanding of chiller systems, refrigeration cycles, and cooling principles.
Familiarity with various types of chiller control systems and their maintenance.
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues related to chillers.
EPA certification for handling refrigerants is a plus.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent. Further education or technical training in HVAC technology is preferred.
