Primary Duty Locations: Garmisch and Hohenfels Training Area

Position Summary:

Provides administrative and program support for Catholic religious services at USAG Bavaria with primary focus on Garmisch and Hohenfels. This is a non-personal services contractor position supporting Catholic Masses, sacraments, and community programs in coordination with the Catholic Priest and Religious Support Office (RSO). This is not a U.S. Government employee position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Catholic Masses, sacraments, religious education, and special events

  • Prepare and maintain sacramental records and AMS documentation

  • Develop weekly bulletin input and community announcements

  • Maintain Catholic community calendars and registration records

  • Attend required coordination and planning meetings

  • Assist with liturgical planning and religious supply documentation

  • Respond to community inquiries and submit required monthly reports and invoices

Qualifications:

  • Practicing Catholic in good standing

  • Minimum 2 years of Catholic parish or ministry administrative experience

  • Possess an AMS Catechist Certification or be able to obtain certification within the required timeframe.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel
