Job Title: Night Security Guard

Location: Redwood Science Laboratory, Pacific Southwest Research Station, 1700 Bayview Drive, Arcata, CA 95521.

Job Type: Full-time Position

Schedule: Night Shift (2100-0500), 7 days a week, including all Federal Holidays

Duties:

Conduct regular patrols and surveillance of the designated perimeter areas, equipment, and structures to prevent trespassing, damage, or theft of property.
Question individuals found trespassing on the property and take appropriate actions as necessary.
Maintain constant vigilance and observe all activities within sight or hearing to identify any unusual or suspicious behavior.
Report all incidents, violations, or security breaches promptly to the designated point of contact.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in security or law enforcement preferred.
Strong observational and surveillance skills, with the ability to remain vigilant and alert during night shifts.
Physical fitness and ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
