Job Title: Family Advocacy Program Training Specialist

Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth training sessions covering concepts, principles, theories, and techniques relevant to family advocacy within the military context.
- Deliver traditional face-to-face training to FAP personnel to facilitate optimal learning outcomes and foster collaboration among peers.
- Develop and update training materials to ensure alignment with the goals and objectives of the FAP program and compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
- Provide opportunities for practical skill development and scenario-based learning to enhance the effectiveness of FAP personnel in addressing complex family dynamics and challenges.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives through feedback mechanisms and ongoing assessment, with a focus on continuous improvement and adaptation to emerging needs within the military community.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, education, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in providing training or education, preferably in the field of family advocacy or related areas.
- Knowledge of domestic abuse, child abuse/neglect, problematic sexual behavior in children-youth, and other harmful behaviors, with an understanding of their impact on military families.
