Location: Dyess Air Force Base, Texas

Position: Part-time

Requirements:

Proficiency in playing the piano, as it is the primary instrument used during services.
Two years of experience as a Catholic liturgical accompanist and leading choral and congregational music in a parish setting.
Degree in Music from an accredited institution.
Experience with soundboards and sound systems (preferred but not required).

Duties:

Coordinate with the liturgist and Catholic priest for music selection and approval.
Perform and direct all hymns and Mass parts during regular Masses and seasonal celebrations.
Be present 30 minutes before services to coordinate and prepare with the Catholic priest.
Direct weekly practice sessions and additional rehearsals as needed.
Ensure the chapel is secured and equipment is properly managed after services and rehearsals.
