Position: Part-time

Duties:

Direct the Catholic Choir at scheduled rehearsals, Mass, and special services/events.
Recruit, train, support, and supervise musicians, singers, and volunteers.
Assist with Mass planning, music selection, and sound/audio-visual programming.
Design and implement a worship campaign for the Catholic program.
Maintain records and report volunteer activities and attendance figures.
Care for and safeguard chapel music equipment.

Requirements:

Formal musical/vocal training and at least two years' experience in cantoring, directing choirs, and leading congregations in the Catholic Church.
Ability to sight-read music and direct singing from the Oregon Catholic Press (OCP) series, GIA/Gather, and other specified music.
Minimum of two years’ experience in coordinating and performing religious services.
Ability to blend various musical instruments in the worship service.
Working knowledge of audio-visual equipment, such as sound systems and projectors.
