- Over 2 years of sign language interpretation experience.
- Proficient in ASL and relevant sign languages.
- Certified or holds a degree in sign language interpretation.
- Understands diverse communication needs and legal/ethical considerations.
The Sign Language Interpreter shall:
- Accurately interpret sign language in diverse settings.
- Stay current with language trends and legal considerations.
- Adapt to various environments, including meetings and evaluations.
- Prioritize confidentiality and uphold professional standards.
- Collaborate with clients to understand communication preferences.
- Be flexible in scheduling and responsive to additional requests.
