Overview:
Located at the Cass Lake Service Unit in Minnesota, this role supports inpatient dietary services in a hospital setting.
The Dietary Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the dietary services program. This role includes staff supervision, meal planning, compliance with food safety standards, and management of special dietary needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and schedule dietary staff

  • Maintain dietary service policies and procedures

  • Ensure compliance with HACCP protocols and FDA Food Code 2022

  • Coordinate with healthcare providers to implement physician-ordered diets

  • Maintain inventory, ordering, and food safety documentation

  • Conduct training, onboarding, and staff performance evaluations

  • Plan and post 3-week rotating menus in coordination with the Registered Dietitian

Qualifications:

  • ServSafe certification required

  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a hospital or healthcare dietary program

  • Valid Food Handler’s Permit
