Position Overview: Ladgov Corporation is seeking a professional, experienced Youth Sports Official to support the delivery of high-quality, organized youth sports programs across Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) Randolph, JBSA Lackland, and JBSA Fort Sam Houston.
Location: San Antonio, Texas. Work Schedule: Variable; includes evenings, weekends, and Federal holidays based on game schedule. Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience officiating youth or intramural sports; multi-sport officiating is preferred.
Must be properly trained and certified to officiate in the applicable sport(s); training documentation and certifications must be submitted before each season.
Ability to interpret and apply sports rules, resolve disputes calmly, and maintain control during heated or tense situations.
Preferred Certifications (Per Sport):
Basketball: NCAA or NFHS Rules Certification
Soccer: FIFA/IFAB Rules Knowledge
Softball/Baseball: ASA, Little League, or USSSA Certification
Volleyball: USVA or NIRSA Rules Familiarity
Flag Football & Kickball: NIRSA Rulebook Proficiency
Key Responsibilities:
Officiate youth sports games (ages 5–18) including but not limited to: baseball, softball, soccer, basketball, volleyball, kickball, and flag football.
Arrive 15 minutes prior to game time in proper uniform with required officiating equipment (e.g., whistle, scorebook, ball counter).
Conduct pre-game meetings with teams and ensure equipment and field safety standards are met.
Monitor player conduct and enforce game rules and JBSA Youth Sports By-Laws without deviation.
Report injuries, misconduct, ejections, or protest incidents by the next duty day.
